Contractual contents and additional information
- Is there a minimum rental duration?
In the elevon apartment buildings, rental agreements are usually indefinite, but they always include a minimum rental period of 6 months. - What documents do I need for the rental agreement?
After your inquiry through the website, various documents are required, including at least a self-disclosure, identification documents, proof of liquidity, and a credit report (Schufa-Auskunft – for German residents only). - What costs will I incur?
The prices stated on the website are indicated as all-inclusive prices. Depending on the respective properties, these prices include not only the apartment rent and furnishings, but also water, heating, internet, and electricity costs. - Are there any additional costs?
If relevant to your unit, only additional electricity costs will be incurred. In addition, each tenant is responsible for paying the broadcasting fees to the GEZ. - How are the additional costs calculated?
The additional costs are either charged as a monthly lump sum or paid as an advance payment, depending on the property. Any differences between the advance payment amounts and the actual consumption will be specified in the additional costs settlement. - Can I sublet my room?
Approval from the landlord is required for subletting.
- Can I bring pets?
To consider the interests of the landlord, the tenant community, and the proper management of the property and rental unit, the tenant is required to obtain the landlord’s approval in advance if they intend to keep pets. - Is there a notice period and where should the termination be sent?
In addition to the specified minimum rental period, the legal notice period of 3 months to the end of the month applies. Please note that terminations must be submitted in writing by mail. The corresponding branch responsible for your inquiries was communicated to you at the beginning of the rental agreement.
Questions regarding your security deposit
- How much is the deposit and when does it need to be paid?
The deposit amount is three times the net cold rent. This amount can be paid either in one installment or in three monthly installments. The security deposit must be paid before moving in and before the start of the rental period. Move-in is only possible after the deposit payment has been made. - Can the deposit be provided in the form of a guarantee?
Bank guarantees, guarantee certificates, or deposit insurance will not be accepted as a deposit. - How is the deposit refunded after the termination of the rental agreement?
We strive to process the refund of the deposit as quickly as possible. However, this process may take up to 6 months.
Move-in and start at Elevon Apartments
- How can I arrange a viewing?
Please submit an inquiry through our website. Our team members will then be happy to contact you to arrange a suitable appointment for a viewing. - How quickly can I move in?
Our move-in dates are available on the 1st and 16th of each month. To ensure that you can reserve a unit, we recommend submitting your inquiry as early as possible. Requests can usually be processed successfully if they are received at least two weeks before the planned move-in date. - What do I need to bring?
The apartments are already furnished, but we kindly ask you to bring your own bedding (including pillows, duvet, and bed linen). Mattresses are available on-site. Additionally, please bring cutlery and other kitchen utensils according to your needs. Please note that the landlord cannot provide storage for existing furniture from the apartments. - How do I arrange a move-in or move-out date?
Once you have submitted your inquiry, your assigned contact person will get in touch with you to discuss any concerns. After the rental agreement has been successfully processed, we will inform you about the move-in date. Please note that moves cannot take place on weekends or holidays.
Other services
- How does the internet work on-site?
Internet connections are available in all our properties. You will receive information about internet access when you move in. If you encounter any issues with the usage, you will find relevant information from the internet provider in the building. - Are there car and bicycle parking spaces
Almost all of our properties offer parking spaces for cars and bicycles. If you are interested in a car parking space, please inform your contact person at the beginning or send us a message at hallo@talyo.de. - Where can I find the right contact person?
Information with the contact details of all property management contact persons is posted in the building. Alternatively, you can also approach the facility managers on-site or use the talyo.wohnen app to get in touch with us. - Now available! The talyo.wohnen App
